Heyday films' logo is white with black lettering which not only makes it easy to read but implies the company is very straight to the point and all effort is gone into finishing a film to it's highest quality. It is quite a bold move to not use a unique font or imagery as, as a logo, it is quite forgettable, but the name of the company is what makes this logo great. "Heyday". The word itself invokes imagery of a person saying hello to a brand new day. It embodies what makes the British film industry great. We may not have the glitz and glamour of hollywood, but we take each day as it comes. When heard, the name can make a person smile, it portrays strength and determination, as despite not being a huge, well known studio, the people that work for Heyday films will wake up and greet each day with a smile on their face, and so will the audience when they watch their films.
Furthermore, the name Heyday is reference to the man who founded the company, David Heyman. So why isn't the company called Heyman films instead you might ask? As a woman, living in the 21st century, a company called Heyman sounds like it is only talking to men, and only value the male audience. This wouldn't reflect well on the company, as many people in the film industry are female and the name could be seen as sexist when really it's just a surname.
